Build a Forum Using ADO.NET
One of the most popular ways to increase community on a Web site is to implement a Web-based forum. Web-based forums take many sizes and shapes; many closely resemble traditional newsgroups in their hierarchical structure consisting of posted messages and responses to those messages. Although many "off-the-shelf" solutions are available to add a forum to your Web site, I'll show you how to build a customized forum using ActiveX Data Objects.NET (ADO.NET) and Active Server Pages.NET (ASP.NET). A custom forum solution gives you greater flexibility to tailor the forum's look and functionality to match your Web site.
